Hello All!
It's been awhile...
Regarding the upcoming fly-by, I have read that "a (Earth) collision by an object of this size may occur about once every 1200 years".
How long ago were the dinosaurs?
Or that asteroid that flattened the forest in Russia?
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm too tired to Google any of this right now.
And, this question may give you fodder for fun!!

We all know how that turned out!
Amazing, since it was only discovered a year ago.
I'll take a look at the other post.
