Wow you actually got one to finish without it erroring out. I never knew that could happen.

Congratulations on your persistence and it's just reward.
I gave up CPDN when my (I think) 10th attempt had got up to a heady 10% complete, then errored out on a re-boot.

It was actually 27 attempts.
Anyway, my success was due to crunching only climateprediction, daily backups (which I didn't need) and making sure I suspended the task and exited BOINC before doing anything CPU intensive such as playing games. _________________

I've been lucky. I have over 30 completed models, since 2005. I've lost a few. Some were because they forced resets, a couple were because of bad units. I rarely lost any from any type of other issue. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

Forgot to mention I also had BOINC in it's own partition on my secondary HD and had a designated SWAP partition on the primary.
Anyway, I'm back to crunching 8 different projects at a time
Even got some LHC wus _________________
