Obviously you have forgotten the two ancient wisdoms of the Chinese sage Loonicus!
The first says "Never play dominoes with a blind man when the wind blows from the South-Southeast." That doesn't actually have much to do with our current situation, so let's just move on to the second.
The second wisdom says: "When playing pool with a rodent, never knock them into the corner pocket, for not only does it annoy them mightily, but that is also where they like to keep their samurai swords."
HiiiiYaaaaa!!!!!

Confucius Say: Man who shoot off mouth, must expect to lose face .
A most excellent (photo) chop to the neck, the game is yours .
I acknowledge your superiority in the martial arts. You have won this round . I deluded myself into thinking that I could defeat you, I must have lost my head !
I do look forward to our get together this Saturday for some Hamster skeet shooting ! Perhaps the outcome will be different !

Sir Fart has been doing a great job of digging up pictures from this Internet thingie people keep talking about, far outpacing my own efforts!
***applauds***
My homegrown animations are the klugy results of three different programs:
1) IRFANView - mostly a digital photo editing program, it also has the capacity to decompose an animated .GIF into individual frames. I use this of overall picture editing, resizing, rotations, and other special effects. Grat program. Free download! I highly recommend it.
2) Microsoft Paint - What? Yes, if you run Windows you have this already. I use this for the rather tedious "pixel editting" stage. There are numerous other programs which will do the same job. The key features are the ability to do pixel editting, and to read and save GIF and bitmap formats.
3) Microsoft GIF Animator - A very simple program that works quite nicely. Use it to assemble the completed .GIF frames into an animation and tweek the animation properties (speed, looping, etc.). Free download (You may be noticing a trend here ).
3.5) GIF compression software - nice to use on your finished animation to make it smaller. Numerous free downloads available, but most are demos with limited uses.
Basic procedure:
Select a backgroud image and save it in bitmap format. (IRFANview)
Edit the image as needed to create a frame. Repeat until you have all your frames. (IRFANview and Paint).
Convert the final frames back into GIF format (IRFANview).
Assemble the animation (MS GIF Animator)
Upload the animation (somewhere) and post it here along with the appropriate taunting of Sir Fart!
These images the Sir Fart has been digging up are much higher quality than I can do, and are almost certainly made with better software (like PaintShop Pro/Animation Shop) than my cheapskate efforts. _________________ -- Have you seen my goat? |

.......... and I quote from the above message ..."the appropriate taunting of Sir Fart"
Oh, I see, so these programs were created for the sole purpose of taunting me !!!! Is THAT what you're suggesting, Sir Rodent ?
......... Sir Fart rolls up the sleeve off his shirt and prepares to deliver a Popeye uppercut to the offensive rodent and......
Oh, Oh, Oh. I can't finish this post, cuz I have to go !
No, you don't understand, I have to GO ! NOW ! Sweet Jumpin' Jebus, my eyeballs are floating here !!
But I'll be back to finish my rodentia rant, admittedly a little less "pissed off" but I'll return . Cuz I'm hopping mad ! And well, also just plain hopping !!!

Personally, I spell looney M-O-R-O-N and loonies as M-O-R-O-N-S

"Loonie" is indeed the name of the dollar coin here. But it's the two dollar coin that we call "moron."

Oh, and here is a little something to help Sir Fart concentrate!

Very informative! You may be interested to know that we have previously discussed the natural history of Canadian coinage, and there has been one deep philosophical question to which there has never been a truly adequate answer. Perhaps you can help us to end this conundrum ... you see ... we just can't figure out HOW you get these things into your pockets!!!
(sorry the picture is a bit dark, but it really is a loonie**)

The dollars aren't even the real problem. It's the fiddling small change that becomes annoying:

I'm not sure how I missed this thread until BM (Brother Maynard) turned it into Pizza and posted it here (does it then become BM again? Sort of BM -> Pizza -> BM? Hmmm... That is a crappy way to think about it. What am I a comodian?).
BUT it is spelled Lou Knees! It's my name and I should know! Now get it right!
