We are delighted to announce that the University of Oxford, through the
new Oxford e-Research Centre, has selected Carl Christensen, our chief
software architect, to lead the effort to develop the science of
climateprediction.net and to make related scientific results available
to researchers worldwide. This is a significant step to enable global
scientific collaboration around climate change research, and we are very
glad that we have Microsoft Corporation's support for the project.
