Hey, I just saw this posted on a project message board. It seems the BOINC team is conducting a poll about how/why people run/don't run BOINC. It takes about 2 minutes to complete and will hopefully supply them with good data on what people like/don't like about BOINC and BOINC-based projects. Fill it out here:

Please fill it out even if you no longer run BOINC. In fact these responses may be even more helpful in improving the system.

Ya' know... in reviewing all that cra... uhhhh... information... that VERY few people seem to have a sense of humor!!

Didja notice that the largest percentage of folks participating in this BOINC thing do it for self-aggrandizement???

I do it because my computers threatened to murder my DVR if I didn't let them crunch 24X7... and God knows I love my DVR... given the chance, I'd probably lover your DVR, as well...

It's a good thing that I'm not legally responsible for myself else I might have to explain what I just said...
