How about placing this as a sticky or something here.
Quick and easy server status for BOINC projects.
Thanks Sir Snrub! _________________

Trust the one I picked to be the unreachable one. I wonder if My Lady Ruth sends me that way so her projects keep premting mine _________________ Geryon

Einstein has been out since last night. Prime Grid is very recent (within the last 30 minutes). _________________

Einstein apprently had A/C problems... Mind you, an A/C going out around a server room can be nasty. We had this happen around the server room in the networking lab at uni when I was still going for my comp networking degree. It didn't take long before the temp in that little room exceeded 140 degrees F, and about half the hard drives got fried
One can only hope this didn't include the drives holding their online dBase getting fried, with lost work or something...
SETI, right now, not sure... They do have a (well it was Wednesday, then Tuesday, and well a more recent Tuesday it wasn't out) regular outage for maitenance. However, it's early Tuesday morning, and unless they took to going on at 1 am Pacific time, it's something else...
Just pick another project I s'pose (preferably something with a fairly consistent WU stream), and if you want to crunch your's most, set the resource share so that it's like 95+% your desired project. It'll pull work for the other project, when the project you're looking for is unreachable... |

Yeah, I saw this thread a while ago and thought to myself "that might be a good idea" and then didn't do anything. But I have now corrected my laziness and made a sticky thread with this graphic in it.

Cool and thanks Mac. When Mr Snrub sent me the link I thought it might be very helpful to those wondering why they couldn't connect to their projects just as it was to me. _________________
