I find myself sinking into the depths of complacency, and the doldrums of well established habit. I cannot sit here any longer doing nothing about this. Something must happen. Something must change. Therefore, in the defiance of all logic and reason, I must make a major change, and attempt to stick to it for the rest of the year.
So with no further ado, I'm late enough getting started already ...
...
...
OK, deep breathe now ...

Say, this is going to be harder than I thought ...

Well, that was disapointing. Let's try again ...

Rooney!

Oops. Not that ...

Moonies!
...
No no no no ... still wrong!
Maybe if I had a running start???

All the more reason to change. What's more boring than agreement?!?!?
...
Wait, I'm being far too rational here ... time to think like a consorter-with-penguins and consumer-of-fermented-herring (in other words, a Loonie).
Let's start again ...

Dear Mr. Snrub,
Have you lost your mind?!? To be so easily swayed by the idle rantings of a half-hampster!?! Please to report to the Looney Mag ... (sorry, old habits die hard) Loonie Magnet (tm) for immediate therapy!!! Don't forget to bring your aardvark.

Dear Gentle Reader and other follically challenged persons,
Members of the rodentia family are noted for their inability to commit to resolutions. Present company excluded, this trait is most noticeable with rodents possessing limited cranial capacity. It's also prevalent in other related herbivores (e.g. Sir Wabbit). Sir Hamster is the poster rodent for all cerebrally-challenged rodentia, so there's no real surprise .
I recommend continued daily shock treatments at double the previously prescribed voltage. And repeated dropping of 16 ton weights on his furry, bug-infested head . This should continue until he's paid the balance due on his account for my previous counseling sessions .

I was more astounded at your excellent running ability, than your change in spelling. As originator f the original "lets see how bad we can spell things and still have somebody be able under stand them" the subtle difference between "loonies" and "loonys" is lost on me sometimes.
I prefer 'loonies', since it follows the '"I" before "e"' rule... or is that the 'drop they "y" and add "ies"' rule...
Since youve changed you stance on the, are y'all now the "knights who say Ny!"? _________________ 0.0 Giggly hertzes Folding!

Shock Treatments!!!
And that must have been one of my alternate personalities that ran up the bill - you should have made him pay up before you "cured" him!

It's never been about the rules, it's the basic silliness of the argument. People are becoming far to accepting of the non-ies status quo. It's no fun if we all agree. Therefore ...
LOONIES!!!

How can you even ask about why I'm silent? Can't you see that you have disrupted the order of my life? All the things in life I have taken for granted... it's just a mess now. I always believed in Murphys law, in taxes and bad weather. I have beleived in that my bad reputation and bad news travels with speed faster than light, whatever Einstein said about it. And I believed in Sir Hamster being fixed with his "Looney" thing.
So this is a crisis about my existence. Please leave me alone until I have recovered.

We have the nice white coats at work for rent. They buckle in the back and have extra long sleeves, very comfy.

rotciv, the spirit is older than you and I together and I'm closing in on 64 this year, so please just ignore him and he will go away very quietly. But if he's disturbed he will get very ugly and we will be banned in a heartbeat. j/k

I have come to the conclusion that "boring" is absolutely fabulous. I also have come around to loving the "same old, same old". I can't tell you how it tickles my fancy to tell me mother on her weekly phone call that "nothing is new". I, myself, am perfectly content in the knowledge that nothing has changed, because.......
Sometimes, when it does change, when something does happen, when that same old same old isn't, when something actually "is" new, it doesn't mean that a "good" thing has happened. Sometimes it's actually a really suckie, (sucky?) thing that throws life into a tailspin of depression and reality.
So let's hear it for BORING, kids! Let's have a Hip hip Hooray! Shoot, I'm opening my bottle of wine now, I'm so downright pleased as pudding because nothing, absolutely NOTHING IS NEW! Yeah!
Please join me in imbibing. _________________ Confucious say, "Man who lay girl on hill, not on level"
