Since I am going to get passed in the Folding At Home project fairly shortly, I was poking around my network to see if there were any other machines that I might be able to coax into doing some folding work. I was trying to download the latest client from stanford, but I find that I can't locate the stanford servers anywhere on the network.
Is the folding.stanford.edu website up and running?
Thanks

I just double-checked our gateway / firewall settings. It has been set to redirect all requests to folding.stanford.edu back to 127.0.0.0
It seems that I may be having connectivity issues for my clients.
Now to figure out where to change the list of blocked sites, and change the status to "Not Tracked", rather than "Blocked" _________________ One who takes snippets of reality and weaves them into his own imaginary world. |

Don't worry, it was a temporary weekend burst to try to get some more room between us. Now that it's back into "production" work hours I will lose a lot of workstations. I will micro-manage the farm for a while to see if I can stretch this out a bit. If you micro-manage your farm it will be over for me.
