Someone posted a link to this image on an IRC channel today. Nice shot of Discovery's heat shield and the little white "protrusion" of gap filling material. But I played around with the URL a bit and found a bunch more space-related pictues from various NASA sources. Some of them are quite amazing.

Even better! If you dig around you can even find explanations of what the pictures are.
