It's actually a java applet. It tells you how many loonies are actively shrubbing for FAH and DF, also welcomes new members and visitors. Can't forget the rankings either. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

Mildew asked a lot of questions: The page is Good. I tune in to it often and I don't even know how to read. People like to see their names mentioned for milestones and performed feats of wonder to behold. It is useful to have the page, because upon googlization of "Knights who say Ni!", the page in question arises before the forum does.
As for me myself, I personally (me) arrived at the forum through linkage from katrinashome (or was it the old genome page?). The updates are good since it shows that, teamwise, we are On The Ball. (Nothing is as off-putting as a webpage that hasn't been updated in four years). I have eaten too much cheese and must stop now. |

The servers that run Katrinashome page is in the process of being.... upgraded... yea upgraded.
Right Anti?
We expect the updates to be flowing in again very soon. I think.
Since you didn't get to see it in a post I would like to welcome The_Folding_Taunter to the folding team. He's already a lovely shade of Cyan... err cyan _________________ "There ain't no freekin' Indians around here..."

Grey, you're beyond dead.
Black, your slightly warm.
Cyan, you're sorta cool.
Blue, you're really cool.
Green, you caught a whif of Sir Farts latest.
Orange, you're glowing.
Brown?(Dark Cherry), Things are getting hot.

Yup! That's why there haven't been any updates the last few days the servers are being upgraded and moved to a new location. Except for the missed thursday update which was before the server move. At least there were two monday updates. _________________ Check out our website

Who is in charge of Katrinashome Page?
I have two questions... why am I listed as Sir Latch from the Highlands instead of Sir Latch of the Highlands... and I amlisted as the Largest Jumper (or whatever for Wednesday Dec 8th buth my position is listed as 104... I know I was at like 96 two days ago...
Lastly, I really like the layout of the site and all... do think you could lose the Java though since 70% of the time it doesn't show up right on my computer and another 20% it shows up right to begin with but ends up displaying incorrectly if I switch to another window and come back. Good work overall really... Try to get better soon (I mean health wise since you mentioned you have a cold)

Sir Latch,
Thanks for the comments on the website.
I'm not sure how your name got mentioned wrong or position, but I'll look into it tonight since, I'm doing tonights update.
The site is being updated by six loonies, chime in guys if you want.
I host the site and the others have volunteered to help with keeping it up, we have internally discussed trying to improve the site and a couple of updaters have come up with some alternative look and feel for the site.
Perhaps we need to have a few different looks posted and have a vote?
If you have any web experience and any interest we do have an opening for a seventh loony to update the site.
PM me if interested in either helping with the updates or if you just have some other suggestions for the site.

Ooops - that will have been me that did that.
Now fixed.
Penalty of doing the update at 1 o'clock in the morning after a very long day.
In my defence, I cut and pasted your name from an earlier report, but I do plead guilty to assuming the wrong position...

If the wabit can update the site you can.
Seriously with six other loonies to help guide you how much trouble can you get into. _________________ Check out our website

the java does seem a tad dodgy... on Firefox (WinXP) it most of the time shows up with the gray rectangle (could be something to do with the work setup, but points out the pitfall nonetheless). Seems to work "acceptably" on Safari but not always, sometimes it's just blank.
I'd also watch color combinations - I know that colors reflect EOC colors, but the dark blue ones are *really* difficult to read. At least for old people like me.
I do like it though and would help if you need it. _________________ now, where was I??? |
