HELLO MACTARD!!! this is the why you should fold for the KWSN thread, not the fold for TMOSX thread

Since you are all a bunch of loonies, I figured you wouldn't mind! Besides, I figure if you can have pictures of iMacs running over people and our team banner associated with swastikas in pictures, well, 'tauntabout' is fair play! Boo-yaa! Better hit the eject button flyboy! Yahoo! Jester is dead! Repeat Jester is dead! Laughing Request permission for fly-by! BOOOOOOOM!

Sure is hard for me to have a battle of wits with an unnarmed opponent. However, I don't believe there are any rules in the Geneva Convention about such conduct! So, more is on the way! WOOOO! Laughing

OK, I'm willing to get the thread back on topic after all that Mac-bashing got things off. I may have a good perspective on why to fold for KWSN being a MacOS Xer.

Why to fold for KWSN:

10) They are a small group, but spirited.
9) Some of them use Macs.

umm...

Me too! I'll help! Thanks for being the 'good cop' Dros! Hmmm, hmmm. The number ONE reason to fold for KWSN (Team 117) is:

SOMEBODY NEEDS TO HELP THE HELPLESS! Think of it as a charitable contribution! It may even be tax deductible! Warning: tickets not to be taken internally! Void where prohibited! Does not include tax, title, or license! Deal ends Saturday! So act now! Laughing

I'll tell you why you should fold for KWSN! Sure, macos x is out producing us by around 200%. No one denies that. However, you have 7 times the active folders doing it. Seems to me that you guys should be producing something more like 175K a day... With 469 additional users, I think your output is quite pathetic. Even your macs can do the math on this one...

KWSN! -- 368.6 points per day, per user

macos x -- 94.6 points per day, per user

Are you guys even trying...?

Ah fresh meat?! Well, not fresh, and um. Not meat either! Nevertheless I shall let you join in on the fun! Sorry Nits! I was provoked! Laughing You just couldn't let it go could ya!

Quote:
AN ODE TO SPAM(tm)

Oh SPAM(tm)! Oh SPAM(tm)! Gourmet delight!
My food by day, my dreams by night.
To carve, to slice, to dice you up -
pureed in a blender and sipped from a cup.

What shining deity from Olympus knelt
down to the earth and hog butt smelt?
Creating then man's eternal desire
for swine entrails congealed by fire.

On some corporate farm, a pig has died.
Eyes, tongue, and snout end up inside
that cube of SPAM(tm) hidden in the can
I now hold in my trembling hand.

More than mere food, SPAM(tm) is for me
a hedonistic expression of gluttonous glee.
Mottled with pork fat, the pink cube engrosses.
My mouth takes it in, my intestine disposes.

Long have my arteries clogged to the sound
of sizzling SPAM(tm) when there's no one around -
furtively chewing or swallowing whole.
Triple bypass by forty, my medical goal.

Other processed meat products I've tried or declined
Vienna Sausages, Treet, even pig's feet in brine.
Though each may be tasty in different ways,
none matches SPAM(tm) for gelatinous glaze.

That glistening pinkness beckons me
with gristle, fat, and BHT.
Oh SPAM(tm), my SPAM(tm) - the taste, the smell!
The sacred meat product, from Hormel.

Can you smell what the MACs are cookin'?! Oh yes! Yeah baby, yeah!

Sure, I'll do the math. Your assumption of equal contribution is mathematicallly poor. Both groups have a "half-bell curve" of point distribution, with a few users supplying thousands of points per day and many users supplying a few dozen points per day. So increasing the number of users may increase the number of "super users" a small amount, but many more "slow but steadiers". If you were to model the distribution over different scales it would match what you see.

Second, it is a poor attitude that the users that can supply only a small number of points should be mocked or denigrated. Maybe the Mac team has recruited from the ranks of graphic professionals that hog the CPUs all day and switch to folding at night. Is this less noble than having a vast farm working day and night?

Ooops, sorry, that was too serious. Here is a summation in graphical taunt form.

Out of 'respect' to certain individuals that know how to earn it, I shall refrain from doing what I do best in this thread. Of course, you know who you are. Nice job Dros, your 'good cop' routine is very refined! Laughing

Nicely put. I would agree that not a single WU turned in is gone to waste reguardless of how many each individual is able to return per day. We all share the same goal. My point was not to mock the low output point suppliers(being one myself). I was simply stating that a team with only 73 active members is hanging in there quite well with the big guns. If our membership were up near your mac-cult gathering then I think you would see a proportional increase in production.

So you know, the idea of that thread was to post funny pictures so visiting teams can have a laugh and get a quick "sense" of KWSN, and maybe want to join us..............

Sorry about that, it's just that I thought this thread has turned into a lot of useless drivel. Of course, some could argue it started out that way and never evolved.... Rolling Eyes .
