*kough* *kough* I see what you mean! Laughing

A kilopoint a week would be really kool - you would stomp through the lower ranks in no time Twisted Evil (should get you some mentions in the Daily Team News as well Razz )

You would be very welcome, Sir kk_k_ok! Very Happy

And my mama said being a pimp was a bad career choice Surprised . I guess I showed her Razz !!

Ooooooooooh, defecting points are the BEST ones. Takes 'em away from our nemesis AND gives 'em to us. A proverbial double whammy Smile !

Hmmm, a name with 10K in it, huh ?

Embarassed

Oh, you said 1K per week Wink .

'k. y'all must understand that the kilopoint comes both from PCs and (gasp, the HORROR) ***shhhhhhh #evil*** macintoshes. And (protect yer chillens) I'm partial to the latter.

Nevertheless--they are simply too serious over "there".

But a good new name is, well, worth at least a nickle. Are only "sirs" allowed or are there "sir'ettes" as well? "Madams" have, shall we say, connotations.

Fortunately, over here we're serious about nothing. Excepy being silly, THAT we're serious about Cool .

We haven't had a madame here in quite a while Smile Sad , but we understand your reluctance to use that title in your moniker. Most likely we'd recommend prefacing it with Lady.

If thou art having trouble selecting a name, might I suggest you post a poll in the round table section and we'll get our best minds Confused on the problem right away Laughing . I have no preference for names, but I am deathly afraid of penguins Embarassed .

Hello kk_k_ok,

Or whatever name you decide upon.

We have some MAC users! My daughter has an IMAC 1.25 and we have DRDIZZY who runs solely on Mac’s, we also have another new member who mentioned running on an IMAC. Cool Our only concern is having fun and helping a good cause while being silly. Very Happy

That's what I like about this group. We have fun and still have forums for hardware questions as well.

I have no problems with macintoshes (I've even programmed them) - my problems have always been with the users

New name? Hmmm..... how about Sir Castanets?
Then, if you are looking for a name on the Folding Team, how about KWNS_Sir_Castanets or even just KWSN_Castanets ? Cool

Ni!

Hello kk_k_ok

Do you have any g5's? I hear they fly and the client isn't even optimized for the 64bit chip yet. Shocked

Anyway you mentioned defecting, so how about a name of KWSN_Deefectoor Very Happy

then, to the round table we go! Let the maiming commence! er... naming I mean.

At present, I'm running one dual 2G G5 about 11 hours a day (only at night, when I have to WERK, it's too busy with video and such). It's not a slouch... each proc runs a gromacs % in a shade over 5 minutes, a tinker frame takes just over 6. There's also a little 2.4G P4m, a 1 G P4 and a 350M G3 blue and white (over 5 years old. quite the museum piece!)
