Folding is on the GPU ballot. Does it run well on CPU?
This sounds more like a conspiracy against chairs, proteins, bad hands, and other things that Fold! _________________

Folding typically works better on gpu setups because otherwise it takes forever on cpus. Is there a benefit to running poem on cpu? _________________

Well, I always have 2 or 3 doing it in the background...
Haven't checked my Stats since God created dirt, tho
UPDATE: I am at 115 on the Team (But need to merge my Account that is
ranked at 274) - I think I'll do that later - I'm busy Procrastinating now... _________________

Running out of time to vote or break the current tie. Also isn't FIND the same project as fightmalaria@home?
EDit: as to the folding stuff i had forgotten that they released a client that runs in Chrome browser that uses your cpu to shrub for a cure to diabetes.

Some nice person posted about Folding's Chrome client here http://www.kwsnforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=18368 a long time ago.

Indeed, we need more VOTES! Quick!
As to FiND@Home, yes it's the same group as FightMalaria@Home. However the malaria computations have been completed, the project name changed to FightNeglectedDiseases@Home, they have moved on to other diseases, and are currently shrubbing against tuberculosis.

Any Knights having problems with FiND@Home WUs not suspending?

Dang it, I forgot to include Citizen Science Grid!
Oh well, that's why I post the planning threads, attempting to catch errors like that and get new ideas. |

Ok well whatever they did in transitioning to the fight against several diseases they broke the code because i do get the suspend issue. I told a wu to suspend and it continued to use a core without the progress moving _________________

We need to test FiND@Home before declaring it the PotM. There is a problem with snoozing or suspending certain types of WU. See this thread which I linked earlier. If Knights are seeing this problem - Plomos has already confirmed it - we should select something else as PotM for September.

On edit: I don't see how FiND@Home is going to behave for PotM. WUs don't pause when computer is in use as requested, etc.
Are there any more VOTES! out there? 2nd place project is a tie. |
