Ni!
I am running a silly contest. Duh! I am a Knight, it would have to be!
Since I joined The Knights Who Say Ni! in 1999, I have always used Nepal as my country of Domicile in registering for any project.
I live in Texas, in good old 'Merica.
The silly contest is to guess "Why does SpongeBob use Nepal"?
There is 1 (one) and only one (1), very correct answer. Consider this KWSN Team Trivia.
The first to correctly guess why, will win a day of shrubbing in the Bitcoin Utopia project for your account. (You didn't think I was going to give you a project of YOUR choice did you? I can just see me crunching for the next 900 million years in Pirates@home. That would be Loony, loonie, looney, you know crazy) I am just under 3 Billion Shrubs a day.
Impress your friends with your new shrubbing ability, (for a day, if you had any.)
Ni! and Best of Luck!
The famously absorbent ovally challenged one who assumes the geometric configuration of a quadrilateral with congruent lateral dimensions...
SpongeBob SquarePants

"Why does SpongeBob use Nepal"?
Simple. Answer is: You are an ex-Sherpa Texas Buddhist who's last name is LAPEN.
I thought everybody knew that !! _________________

OMG!
Right off the bat, first answer in the door, DING ding ding!
Absolutely, 100%..... Wrong.
Although I do approve of your use of Sherpa in a sentence.
I am not going to give the answer right away I would like to see the creative juices flowing form the heretofore lethargic minions.
Maybe I will even give a partial credit for most creative answer as a runner-up.

P.S. Only 9% of Nepali are Buddhist, 81% are Hindu. _________________ Ni!

I have three guesses.
First, because of your favorite Simpson's character Lisa who prays to Buddha, Jesus and Spongebob, because now is not the time to be picky.
Second, Spongebob always says "I'm Ready" which fits in the Buddhist idea of living in the moment.
Third, you were deployed in Nepali and it was the first time you saw the show, so you equate it with that. |

Squidward moved to Nepal to try and get away from you so you go to Nepal as often as possible to visit your friend and neighbor _________________

Because you grew tired of living in a pineapple under the sea, wanted a change of pace, thus deciding to relocate to an Ugli Fruit on top of Everest where sherpas toil day and night to deliver you the finest Krabby Patties from across the land _________________

1st , there is no first guess!
2nd, You are registered in Nepal for Tax purposes due to excessive profits from your Llama call girl business?
3rd, you couldn't find "Merica" listed as a option? _________________

Ni!
Although I would like to attribute the Nepali domicile to Squidward, Patrick, or even to Gary, my Snail of a cat, it is not any of those.
I cannot comment on the Llama call girl business for legal reasons.
""Merica" was my second option that was, alas, missing. You are correct on number two reason but not number 1. So possible 2nd place points for that!
So I will give a hint for brevity:
IT! has nothing to do with SpongeBob, The Sea, Sandy, Krabbie Patties, Me, or BOINC. IT! has everything to do with Nepal. I have never been there, but I do plan on visiting.
There is a singular trait about Nepal that makes it unlike ANY other country in the world.
Put on your thinking caps. Go!
SBSP
P.S. I passed into 4th place in BOINC today! _________________ Ni!

One last guess for me.
You, Sir Quad-Breeches, choose to represent NEPAL because: your nickname at work is "The Texas Yeti". |

Nepal is noted for having a 'Laid Back' people, "Happy Go Lucky", dissatisfied with what Society has to offer,
and where three Major Religions coexist within a half-mile for hundreds of years and NOT fighting! (And has it's own Time Zone!) _________________

Chicken Dinner!
It most all of the BOINC stats they have a country flag next to your name. I thought why not Nepal? It is the only country that does not have a Rectangle (or very rare square) flag.
I shall PM you for how I can shrub for you!
Congratulations. A quiz 16 years in the making!
SBSP
P.S. Yes, I know with a name like SpongeBob SquarePants I should have chosen a square one. I chose Nepal before I was SBSP, I was S600 and TexasMercedes. _________________ Ni!

I am calling a foul! This result will need the full Loony council to decide. The charge is that "you knowingly choose the correct answer to be the winner"
Now that is far tooooooooooooooooo sensible to be within KWSN rules, next you'll have people thinking you are a normal human being, instead of the deranged lunatic we all love and know!
Come off those meds, they'll wreck your madness, you'll become normal, boring and you may even find a sensible purpose in life.
DO YOU REALLY WANT THAT???? _________________

No, 2 wheels of fish with a committee of 7 randomly choosen people voting by at least a 2/3 majority of a winning suggestion picked by at least one of the wheels of fish. Fair!
