KWSN GPU Project of the Month for May is Milky Way.
Milkyway@Home uses the BOINC platform to harness volunteered computing resources, creating a highly accurate three dimensional model of the Milky Way galaxy using data gathered by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. This project enables research in both astroinformatics and computer science.

I'm back in & running GPU (4870 ati) on Milkyway
(*new milestone @17,000,000)
AND
running Antminer U3 on Milkyway project #3 for Bitcoin Utopia
(*64,000,000 for the first day)
Still on one machine so not yet confident about adding in CPU projects on my 4 core because Antminer U3 uses a full core and Milkyway GPU uses a little and WUProp NCI is running too.

I could not get any workunits to work! AAARRRGGHH! (and it is not even talk like a pirate day!)
I reset project, tweaked app_config, and nothing. So I in frustration removed the project and started over. Bam! New work units! Yeah!. Still don't get 100% usage out of the 980's but I did a tiny tweak to run 2 WUs and now I am running more better.
Sorry for the delay!
I should be full force on this by end of today. Count me in until the end of the month for MW!
Lets get some shrubberies!

P.S. I also should move into 7th place overall in BOINC today! I plan on 5th by end of week. Imagine a Knight where it certainly does not belong!

This is what I'm using - gpu only. I don't know how many a 980 can do concurrently, gpu-z can help you with that. Adjust the numbers for the template below. My card is only about 85% utilized and it runs 5 concurrently (mix of both apps, though I will shut one of them off soon so I can get them both green in wuprop). Both apps seem to use about 17%. If your cards are on the same machine you may need to do other tweaks. Shrub on!
