I checked the properties of a Large WU currently shrubbing and it says estimated computation size = 208669952 GFlops. That is about 208,669,952,000,000,000 calculations or over 208 quadrillion! Shocked

Seems like that should be enough to prove the Conjecture right there? Perhaps this project will end once I upload that beast later today. Wink

Forgive me Sir Glomer if my math is off again!

By a vote of 4 - 2, Collatz Conjecture has been extended as PotM through year end (see modified thread title). Enjoy it while you can ya HOTPO Heads! After the votes were tallied Galactic Emperor Glomer Von Stockowitz materialized before the Election Committee and emitted three pungent syllables at 160 decibels, pointing out that Collatz has been PotM for seven months during 2014! After showering off several kilograms of sludge and allowing the ringing in their ears to subside to a loud buzz, the committee immediately voted to suspend Collatz Conjecture for the first quarter of 2015. This is pending further discussions on New Rules sub section(ii) (a)(iii)(vi)(d) paragraph(4) and of course rule 7 section 6 (iV) a.3.ii. After which they all passed out in Marilyn's Chamber (which now requires re-sanitization).
Oh who are we kidding, the committee is going to do "whatever it takes" to prevent Emperor VonStockowitz from visiting them again!

It can now be reported that Galactic Emperor Glomer VonStockowitz has beamed to somewhere in the Ganglion sector in search of a diplomat who is rumored to have mispronounced a word in the KlagÜæn-÷¢ºéan language during tertiary level negotiations with a delegation from Borg±^ünistan.
