I have now munched on over 3 Million coins for bitcoin utopia. Am about 200,000 away from giving 1 million to Milkyway, and almost 150,000 towards my ticket to Mars

Shrub for Bitcoins, each sub-project (Campaign) represents an organization that gets the Bitcoins minus a cut that BU keeps (15%?), you get Boinc credits and the electric & hardware bills.
My guess is for every $100 you spend on hardware and electric nets the sub-project such as MW (Campaign#3) ~$10 worth of Bitcoins. Meh.
