Poem had to go bye-bye for a month, they're launching a whole new application...
Any projects to add or delete from the ballot? Are the codes still accurate? Should we delete Collatz since it's been going for two months?
Collatz / ATI+ CUDA SP
DistrRTgen / CUDA+ ATI SP
Einstein / CUDA+ ATI SP
Folding@Home (Non-Boinc) / ATI+ CUDA SP
GPUGrid / CUDA
Milky Way / ATI CUDA DP
Moo Wrapper/ ATI+ CUDA SP
Prime Grid / CUDA+ OpenCL SP / OpenCL+ CUDA DP
PPRNet (Non-Boinc) V / CUDA+ OpenCL SP*
SETI / CUDA+ OpenCL SP
Vacation / No GPU PotM
Codes:
V = First time as PotM.
CUDA = Runs on CUDA GPU's
ATI = Runs ATI GPU's
ATI+ CUDA = Runs both, but better on ATI
CUDA+ ATI = Runs both, but better on CUDA
OpenCL = Much better on ATI
DP = Double precision cards required
SP = Single or double precision cards
SP* = Single, but a sub-project may require double precision |

And probably will be most of the rest of this month per the announcement on their main page. "I expect the project will remain down for the next 10-15 days while I set it all back up and test it."
We've seen this before at Collatz and they are usually pretty casual at getting it back online. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

Quote: | Collatz Status
1/23/2014
All hard drives replaced
Debian 7 installed
BOINC software prerequisites installed.
DOCSIS 3.0 modem upgrade - speed now 3-5 times faster
Firewall upgrade (now uses uptables)
Still To Do...
Get BOINC Source code
Compile default BOINC server software
Configure MySQL
Restore Collatz database
Write custom app to "undump" stats files back into database to get restore the latest user, host, and team stats
Identify oldest non-complete workunit (a.k.a. don't allow gaps due to the lost WUs)
Cancel all existing workunits (I am not going to manually create WU files this time.)
Modify web pages with Collatz changes
Compile all server daemons
Verify all daemons and cron jobs are working properly
Configure database backup and off-site storage
Configure Web Stats
Add the Collatz client apps
Test each app and platform
...all the other things I haven't listed |

I think the 'they' is just Slicker, IIRC. That's why it takes a while. _________________
