Deleting Climate Prediction and adding Folding*, we have the following first draft. Correlizer left off due to lack of work. Any other changes?
*Should Folding be GPU only?

The numbers in parenthesis (X) indicate how many work units are ready to send. (I couldn't find it on web sites with non-standard formats, perhaps someone can help.) Is this stat useful? Should we bring back the Stomp Factor and other stats?

Also check the number of WU's for excluded projects - time to put Edges or OProject on the ballot?

Constellation (4)
Cosmology (3300)
Distributed Data Mining (54512)
Docking (163)
Eon (1902)
Fight Malaria
Folding@Home (Non-Boinc)
Malaria Control (86770)
MUON 1 V (Non-Boinc)
Number Field Sieve (75835)
Primaboinca (50)
Prime Grid (41821)
Rosetta (71104)
SAT V (4422)
Simap (48803)
SkyNet/POGS
Sztaki Grid (108262)
World Community Grid
YoYo (5215)
Vacation / No CPU POTM

Excluded projects:
Correlizer - lack of work (1)
Quantum Monte Carlo - Beta / re-launching
ABC - lack of work, project nearing completion? (0)
Edges - lack of work (49932)
Mind Modeling - lack of work (506)
OProject - lack of admin, project needs to mature (83807)
RNA World - no checkpointing, no work for short WU's
SubSetSum - Misc. tech problems (0)

Pogs 9,315
fight malaria 57,046

Also RNA World has some work for their new VM app. The VM supports checkpointing. It still sucks up RAM like an elephant tho (2 GB per WU) and they take quite a while to complete.

new Applications using VirtualBox released
We just released new application versions for Windows, Mac and Linux of the cmsearch VM app that uses VirtualBox for checkpointing. Here is how you can participate:

if applicable, enable the AMD-v or VT-x capability of your CPU in your BIOS
install VirtualBox on your computer (4.2.16 is required, 4.2.18 or better are not working at the moment)
install BOINC 7.x (sometimes you have to reinstall after the VirtualBox installation)
select the cmsearch VM application on your RNA World preferences page
allow BOINC to use at least 2GB of hard disk space and 4GB of RAM on your global preferences page

Please visit our forum or comment on this news item if you have problems.

I have tested a few WUs this week and it seems to be relatively stable from what i can tell.

Constellation has 4 WUs available? I'm guessing you expect our turnout to be low?

I did not know elephants sucked up RAM. Learn something new every day. Shocked

I shrubbed some OProject this month while waiting for Climate WU's to fill out all cores but all results were declared invalid. Confused Sad

Might want to pull Muon this month as Admin is moving to the US.

Will pull Constellation, Folding (GPU only), and Muon. Will add Enigma. Will get the ballot set up this afternoon if the site stays up.....

Do we want to add RNA World, requires Virtual Box VM for checkpointing?

Folding is GPU only? I could swear it's popular with multi-core users also. I'll install it when I get home to double check.

The folding multi-threaded client isn't bad, the single threaded client pays poorly though.
