When PotM projects go wrong, I start chasing stars in WU Prop. Since I can't seem to get any WU's in Correlizer or Poem I'm shrubbing Asteroids, but also working a bit on the 2nd WUP star, what I call the Mickey Mouse badge.
One thing I like about WU Prop is it forces you to shrub projects you've been ignoring. Prime Grid is one I'm weak on - I notice it has 14 sub-projects but only 3 are GPU. A question I'm wheedling around to, prolly should have just axed it directly is shouldn't Prime Grid also be on the CPU PotM ballot? _________________

It has been in the past. We had it for one of the months that there was a big challenge recently. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

I have an emerald star. I have been trying to get the sapphire one, but stupid projects do not play nice. SubsetSum I am just about 1.5 days away but that's been dead for almost 90 days. Astropulse I am just a few days away, but it's not steady work. I have almost all the PG badges, but holding out for the last project to get a badge, because it's a big one (TRP LLR). So now I just stated POEM up since I already have Asteroids and the PotM doesn't have enough steady work. I was thinking about CPDN, but then I'd have to cut back some cores and I am unsure what models are currently running and if I could lock it down to one. At 26 cores it should take just over 8 days to get 5K, but because I still have Astropulse and Harmonious Trees ( just over half way to both sapphire in WUProp and the silver star on Yoyo) as grab when I can, I suspect 10-12 days. Still well before the end of the month, plus before the next PG challenge.
I am unsure if HT will be around long enough for me to get to those levels, although I've been surprised how long it's been going. I've made over 30K since they stopped making "new work". I believe the way HT works is once it gets a set of work done, it makes more work based off the completed work. They will not create more data, but the current data could go for quite a while yet. It's just hit or miss when you may get work for it. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

I suspect I'll have my older machine work on one of the World Record Genefer PG ones. That'll take all week and then some _________________

WUProp has a nice feature that some people may not realize is there. If you go to your computer list there is an Activity option on each computer. It's nice to be able to click on that, then look at the work that WUProp has recorded for your machine for the past period of time that you choose. It also has a couple automatic periods. It's a good at a glance look to see if your cores are working the hours you think they should be. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

So appropriate punishment can be applied to those cores who think they can goof off. _________________

WuPROP is now recognizing hours crunched with it's own apps...
EDIT: ok I lied-it's not in the list anymore. _________________

Admin screwed up the scripts and only counted it's own software, not anything else. So it was on there by mistake. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)
