Perhaps we should get lazy and just shrub whatever Boinc Synergy decides is PotM (like we did in June). Currently RNA World is winning over there.
BTW, Boinc Synergy have a good idea in that the 2nd place finisher is the back up project for when (not if) the winner runs out of WU's or crashes...

After SubSetSum not having work for I while I picked up 3 WUs.
25hrs @32% due 6/24 6AM
32hrs @44% due 6/23 6PM
38hrs @54% due 6/23 2PM
They better be worth a lot of points! If I can beat the deadline.
I got some Lattice WUs on a different shrubber. They locked it up, using 2+GB RAM each.
A lot can change when you don't shrub a project for a while. Nasty surprises! _________________

agree, Convector is having almost daily growing pains.. I'd love to see an effort there but the frustration level is still pretty high.
I don't count for much point wise, (one silly goat does not a farm make)..
but I would like to have a month of CPU time to catch up on the few programs I have started... with my limited resource of one goat.
I also looked at RNA World@Home to see what I might be getting into should you decide to do that for a CPU PotM and noticed that they are currently having some problems and all the servers were down for one reason or another.

PrimeGrid is on the GPU PotM ballot. If there are enough CPU only sub-projects, we could add it here also?
Doesn't appear that Lattice or SubSetSum have much work?
RNA World has 1360 WU's available. Run time is 329.76 hours with a range from 12.97 to 1,036.92. Is this the project with long work units and no checkpointing? If so, Knights will need nerves 0' steel, stable systems, and no re-booting. Boinc Synergy is right behind us in this project.
Will prolly publish the vote tomorrow morning and end it 6/28. |

I have 1 Lattice task running, 47hrs @49% using 1.89GB RAM;
3 SubSetSum tasks,
45hrs @58%
51hrs @68%
58hrs @75%
together using >4.5GB RAM
