After shrubbing some Poem as the GPU PotM, I think we should also add it to the CPU ballot. Poem WU's for GPU are few and far between, so it's mostly a CPU project anyway. If you agree with that and after deleting DDM we have the following first draft.
Any other changes?
Asteroids V
Climate Prediction
Constellation
Cosmology
Fight Malaria
MUON 1 V (Non-boinc)
Number Field Sieve
OProject V
Poem
Primaboinca
RNA World
Rosetta
SAT V
SETI
SkyNet-POGS
SubSetSum V
Sztaki Grid
World Community Grid
YoYo

Ahh - just realised something , F Boing awards points on the number of wu,s crunched since the begining of the FB year - not the rac in that project , hence KWSN is still second in DDM in FB as A Francs have crunched 4,000,000 more this year than us Most of them in the last 20 days !
How long would it take KWSN to crunch 4,000,000 in POtM ?
With this in mind Sztaki seems to offer the best chance in both Vault and FB .

Well I'd like to see KWSN chasing both DC Vault and Formula Boinc rankings. DC Vault strategery is already being discussed in that "other place". Formula Boinc hasn't had much attention here. I think our best strategery would be to focus on projects where we already have points and attempt to move up, rather than trying to grab 10th place for 1 point.

C'mon, we need a little energy and some pimpin!

Quote: | OProject - The main idea of this project is the analysis of algorithms. ALX is the application - Artificial Intelligence, it never worked NCI correctly unless you used an anonymous platform. Currently in hibernation.

Based on Pooh Bear 27's analysis we need to remove that project, AY? |

They have other projects besides the ALX. They have:
Shor's Algorithm SP - Simulation of quantum Shor's algorithm. 99% of the time it takes the quantum Fourier transform. All performed on single-precision floating-point numbers. Runs approx. 4 - 12 hours
Shor's Algorithm DP - Simulation of quantum Shor's algorithm. 99% of the time it takes the quantum Fourier transform. The Fourier transform is performed on a floating-point double precision. Runs approx. 6 - 20 hours
GSCE-SV - Full name of the application: Goldbach's Strong Conjecture Engine - Single Variants. This program tests the Goldbach's Conjecture. Runs approx. 8 hours
Weird Engine - Calculation of weird numbers. Weird number in OEIS. Runs max. 5 hours (dependent on the operating system) _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)
My lucky numbers are 121*2^4553899-1 and 3756801695685*2^666669±1

I don't feel POEM is a CPU project any longer. It takes several hours to shrub a CPU WU for 80pts. A GPU WU uses a core and GPU but yields 2090pts. every 10-15min.
Worse, there's a limit of 100 tasks in progress per host. Readily available CPU tasks will quickly fill your cache preventing you from getting any GPU WUs unless you run a short cache, but that itself makes it very difficult to get GPU WUs as the client requests work so infrequently once the project says it has no tasks. Might be workable with the auto-updater programs, but I haven't had any luck getting any working properly for me. _________________

Taking Poem back out as primarily GPU and leaving OProject in, we have the following list. Room for one more, Malaria Control?

Climate Prediction
Constellation
Cosmology
Fight Malaria
Malaria Control
MUON 1 V (Non-boinc)
Number Field Sieve
OProject V
Primaboinca
RNA World
Rosetta
SAT V
SETI
SkyNet-POGS
SubSetSum V
