I ran some HCC the other day because i like contributing to Cancer research because i think its important we do something about it. While running the WUs on my HD 6870 my system became substantially slower than normal. This doesn't happen with other GPU projects or cpu projects so was wondering if there is any particular reason it happens with HCC? _________________

I am shrubbing WCG HCC1 GPU apps on the rig dedicated to shrubbing only, so I can not say how it behaves.
But, as all GPU apps I am able to run on my primary PC (i.e. EAH and Collatz) are slowing the system and causing the lagging of the screen, I am guessing WCG HCC1 would do the same (as well as all CPU apps)
When I need more power from PC, I use to change BOINC settings to: Don't use BOINC when computer is in use.
