I have had it going to a blue screen since I started running DDM. I took it off of the project tonight because I haven't been able to get it to stop. I will see if it still blue screens on another project. Sorry I have had to remove it but it isn't doing much this way. Has anyone had this problem with DDM? It may be hardware, and I guess I should know in a day or two.
We are needing some more help if we are going to hold the Frenchies off! |
My i5 2500k (8GB, Win7-64 Home Premium, GTX570) has been BSoD'ing since the last Java updates but I've had problems with it on and off for a long time so it may not be related. Between getting ill late last summer, then the hurricane and subsequent cold weather I haven't taken them out for a good cleaning in too long. I just opened the i5 up and cleaned it indoors today. Probably transferred half the dust to the other computers.
I guess USTL-FIL (Lille Fr) shut down for the weekend. Tomorrow we'll find out if their goal was the 5M milestone or the #1 team rank.
Who do we know who has a grudge against the French? Does Greenpeace have a team? |
I haven't had a problem with the i7 so I guess it is something to do with the project. It may need a good cleaning too I will try to do that. really shouldn't be a heat issue as it is liquide cooled. where did Shane 70 go? he was ready to take it to the Frenchies a few days ago, if Lile Fr has shut down we will be ok but if not the we might make it till the end of the month but it will be close. I'm planning on keeping it going till the end of the month, I should hit a million about then. |

Maybe they were just aiming for their 5M after all. Anyone see them hitting another project? Maybe they rotate projects every week or so?
Thanks for all the help guys!!

I have 3 i7's and only having problems with the one. I'm going to be gone for a few days starting tomorrow. so they will just have to get along without me to baby set them. I think they will do ok except for Donate it will probably hang wu's and I will have hours and hours on a hung wu. |

Java - gotta luv it - time to update again. Version 7 Update 15 is now the baseline for Version 7. Version 6 is no longer being updated.

There's were no challenges and if you guys aren't kept busy you just get into trouble tipping over old lady Moon*'s trash cans or something.
Idle hands are the Devil's playthings.
A big thanks for the assist.

Many thanks, Rick.
I have 3 shrubbers off DDM, 2 throwing computation errors. I guess another update requiring re-re-re-install of Java.
The 3rd is something I haven't seen before. my i5 had a BSoD. When it rebooted Everything was normal except DDM had vanished from BOINC. Not in the project list, stats, anywhere. Add project dialog says not a BOINC project. Am I using the right URL?

or

I can't find it on their homepage. _________________
