After deleting Mind Modeling and Simap, then adding Docking (overlooked for a long time?) and WCG, here's first draft of the list.

Constellation
Cosmology
Distributed Data Mining
Docking
EDGeS V
Leiden Classical
MUON 1 V (Non-boinc)
Number Field Sieve
OProject V
Primaboinca
RNA World
Rosetta
SAT V
SETI
SkyNet-POGS
SubSetSum V
Sztaki Grid
YoYo
WCG
Vacation / No CPU POTM

Excluded:
Eon - bouncy work server
Quantum Monte Carlo - project servers are slow-moving thru end of Jan. '13.
Correlizer - lack of work
ABC - lack of work
Climate - tech problems

Need any ch-ch-changes? Is fightmalaria@home behaving well enough to add? Too soon for Asteroids?

The bug has been fixed at FightMalaria@Home - suspends work now as it should do.
As for Docking@home see this thread on their message board and then this thread. Piss poor credits and no contact from the team running the project.
As for the eOn project this thread just about somes up nicely the problems there.
Ni!
PS - Vote for Dewey! Might be a bit late for that ...

I was looking around CPDN, looks like work is flowing again, but mostly large units (4-7+ day ones). Shorter ones are not back yet. The good thing about CPDN is you get credit at certain checkpoints so you do not waste time and you do not lose the credit if the unit fails for any reason.

So I would say it might be ready for the February poll.

As for Asteroids their work currently looks like

Tasks ready to send 38,058
Tasks in progress 33,759

Not sure if that would be enough or if they will beef up output if we do though.

Probably too soon for Asteroids, let's keep an eye on it. OK so deleting Docking and adding Climate we have the following ballot. I'll put it up soon unless there are more comments. Might be good to check the lesser known projects for adequate WU history...

Climate Prediction
Constellation
Cosmology
Distributed Data Mining
EDGeS V
Leiden Classical
MUON 1 V (Non-boinc)
Number Field Sieve
OProject V
Primaboinca
RNA World
Rosetta
SAT V
SETI
SkyNet-POGS
SubSetSum V
Sztaki Grid
YoYo
WCG
Vacation / No CPU POTM

I inflicted American Corporate Punishment Rule # 2.3 on myself: anyone who asks a good question #Scramble is rewarded by having to do all the work to provide the answer. We all know the effect this has on perceptive questions and suggestions.

Taking my punishment like a Real Kanigit, I quickly checked thru the projects on the proposed ballot and the only one that appears to have a problem providing sufficient WU's is Edges. The average team crunches 30K in a month and the top team shrubbed only 130K in 28 days. No way! (Mind Modeling stats indicate a lesser, but similar problem: 216K average and 780K by the top team.)

Deleting Edges opens up a slot. Asteroids might work as the average crunched was 574K and two teams crunched over 1.1 million in last 28 days. Or we can add something else or just go wid da list we got...

NFS may is one of the highest paying CPU projects ATM (16e app), but needs a lot of RAM (>1GB/WU). Might be best run alongside another project for those with 4GB quad-cores. Linux app is faster than Windoze.
