Winter Solstice Challenge

KWSN was in 13th when I first looked ~2hrs. in, dropped to 19th this afternoon, now back up to 18th place.

on 12/19 at 10:00 utc I dumped my slower box for ~90k and we are now ONE Wu behind Norway

All my GPU's are in. Had 10 CPU cores in, just added 7 more but CPU WUs take soooo long.

Yes, but they seem to give reasonable return credit-wise.

Sure. Just saying CPU tasks won't make much impact in a GPU challenge unless you're a corporate user with several hundred cores. Like bringing a knife to a gunfight. _________________

Agree entirely. I had two classrooms running (40 machines, all with dual cores) and figured out that they were going to take longer than the challenge ran to complete a single WU.

That's bang on the money. Sticking to shorter tasks on them now, sophie germain ones are much more manageable.
