|
|
Winning the tie-breaker runoff vote, our CPU PotM for December is Mind Modelling.
Quote: | MindModeling@Home (Beta) is a research project that uses volunteer computing for the advancement of cognitive science. The research focuses on utilizing computational cognitive process modeling to better understand the human mind. We need your help to improve on the scientific foundations that explain the mechanisms and processes that enable and moderate human performance and learning. Please join us in our efforts! MindModeling@home is not for profit.
MindModeling@Home (Beta) is based in Dayton, OH at the University of Dayton Research Institute and Wright State University.

Hey cool, UD and Wright State are about an hour away from me, shoulda been shrubbin' this earlier!
Server Status:
Tasks ready to send 1,001
All systems running
This project may not have a steady flow of WU's - I notice the top team crunched less than 1 million points last month. If it runs dry, recommend shrubbing Simap (the other runoff candidate) or taking a vakay and crunching whatever you want. Our goal should be to stomp the heck out of this project and storm into the Top 10 before year end (if the WU's hold up).
Starting stats:
26th Place
186,323 total points
1855. average daily production
RAC 12th place |

In, had to switch browsers to get the team page to display the 'Join this team' button.
(Asteroids has work, good backup project for Linux(only) shrubbers, 4 hr. tasks. http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/)

We are just over halfway done with November WUs and not even started December WUs. So if MindModeling runs out there will be plenty available at SIMAP.
