For us in America, a grand slam terminology is used in baseball.
Bases are loaded. Lady_DC steps up to the plate. She points to the farthest point of the stadium. The pitcher winds up and throws the ball. Lady DC swings the bat, the crowd goes wild, the ball is out of the stadium. A Grand Slam for Lady DC.
Oops, I forgot. That is my husband's fantasy. _________________ |----Ni---Ni----|

I see, well for us English a Grand Slam is when we give the Scottish (that's also for the Calcutta Cup) and the Welsh and the Irish (so far that's the triple crown) and the French a bloody good seeing to on the rugby pitch (don't need to mention the Italians as they always get a pasting). Then just to complete the joyous occasion we also kick the Aussies arses (preferrably in Sydney).
...sorry, I've just cum... (blatantly stolen from The Fast Show).
Ni!

I usually get the French Slam, although it is called the Freedom Slam now in ordr to slam the French. Not that it is hard to slam the French. They have had only one decent military force that was completely French. They were able to keep Arthur, Galahad and the rest at bay with their Cowtapult. |

Didn't they also manage to assemble an elite force which succeeded in sinking a Greenpeace ship without calling on NATO support?
