Wow Poland@BOINC seems to be backing down. I have super kicked in my boxes and now pushing around 35K a day.
Still not many of us doing much on there. Would have liked to see a little more kick to keep our #1 spot for quite a while. I miss some of our heavy hitters helping out like previously. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

So I've heard, Poland got his by hikes in their electric bills/rates Might have played a part as well...
Oh and I seem to remember Wabbit had over 1 mil credits. Think the CPID got split there somehow, might want to look into that _________________

I'll have a bit to drop on the project within the hour, along with a few POEM tasks I've been saving up _________________

Not a clue how this happened or even how ti really fix it. Maybe try another stats site and see what happens.

If you changed your email address on some projects, or changed your password; but didn't on others it would split the CPID. Both email AND password are important.
Once they're synced though, one BOINC client has to either have all the projects on it, or there needs to be a path for them to all sync up. So if say:
projects a, b, c, d, e, f, g are on BOINC client 1
projects w, x, y, and z are on BOINC client 2
the CPID's won't merge, because there's no project in common for them to update, but if you put project g lets say on client 2 and keep it on 1, then a common CPID can propagate between them.
But how it got split in the first place can manytimes happen if one for instance changed emails on a bunch of projects, but not others. The account key, which as I understand it is based in part on both the email address AND the password, can get changed, if either of those gets changed. Then wrt CPID, it thinks it's another user...
When I had to change my email after leaving college, my CPID got re-issued, and I had to propagate the CPID among all my projects (changing all the emails to the same for all project). The only problem was retired projects, where a server wasn't up, etc. So for instance, I can't merge my TANPAKU or Predictor@home credits into my account here, as I can't update email anymore... Servers don't exist, or int he case of Predictor, I was able to change it there, but they got so anal as people stopped crunching them, they stopped xml exports altogether, then died as a project. Hence I have a slight split from that, but nothing like you see... _________________

Might have to go to BOINCstats, and report this in the report CPID problem forum then... Simply adding another BOINC client and attaching a few projects on another computer shouldn't scramble up one's CPID _________________

DOW really kicked his boxes in high gear and he has passed me as being the top producer.
It's nice to see our team re-expanded our lead on #2 by a good margin. We kept the Poland team at bay. Good going.
Soon onward to a new month and a new project. I am going to keep a machine on DDM as it seems well suited for there. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)
