I just got a monster WU from Climate Prediction. The past several ones have been 138K timesteps and they take close to 100 hours. This one is over 1 million timesteps. I have completed several since getting the new computer and that makes me happy since I barely completed one with the old computer.

Climate has typically had some hefty WUs. I remember getting 300+ hour tasks from them before; true it was a few years ago when computers were a bit less beefy then today. Think they were among some of the old HadAM tasks, and they weren't just regional like the pacific northwest, Europe, and other such models of today....

Back in late 2005 - early 2006 I used to shrub their WU for approximately 2 months. And I am not sure if I even finished it, but earned all my CPDN credits from that one Smile
