I am starting this to try to get the Admins attention when we notice a new Spammer.

Please use this when one is noticed so that the thread shows up as new when they sign on....

Just one "Anti bot question mod" gonna help. I had like 100+ spammers every day, installed "Anti bot question mod" -> 0 spammers.

Too bad, there wasn't a rather permanent way to get rid of these pesky spammers, similar to how Mr. Mabe finally convinced, yeah that would be as good a word as any, many a telemarketers to stop ringing his phone #ni-1

Too bad we couldn't enlist the services of someone to do a lil hush, hush work on the spammer's computer, that would leave him having to reformat to get those nasty lil computer bugs off his hard drive, if you catch my drift, after he's given the sort of DoS that he's been earning with this spam Razz

There isn't a way to put an IP block on this pest, is there? Alternatively contact the abuse dept of his ISP with complaints about all these spam posts he's leaving, which if given from a website admin can kinda hold a lil weight. Especially if he's violating the ToS agreement of his ISP... Might get him off the Internet for a few days Cool

Well unless, but if he isn't as adept at his nefarious activities as Mr. Rawlsky, don't want to give him ideas....

Please don't comment on the threads the spammers post. It makes the job of deleting them a little harder.

And yet the flaw is, that if one follows a search, and gets to a listing, and sees that, who would bother going through it long enough to really buy anything #ni-1

Usually those search strings are put in white text on a white background, or somehow concealed to the eye, to prevent peeps from looking away with a "my eyes hurt, forget you" :d
