Looks like a second miracle of deliverance will be needed as Arse Technic are right up behind us! These people have technic in the bottom area so on with your tin-plate thongs and boiler-plate boxers!

We might need to beat a safe retreat to #18 on total credits at eOn to regroup.

Checkpointing (saving of data on your HD) at eOn is still not done - see older thread from eOn forum at

Also a lot of WUs are "high priority" which will put other Boinc projects on "hold" - see Forum thread at

Reasoning for this is the normal small size of the WUs and the need for a fast return of work.

Now that I've cleaned my reading spectacles and taken my eye-drops they might not have the word arse in their team name. It does look suspiciously like it though ...

As they are doing 16 times our current output at eOn I hope you have a few multi-socket servers in your box of odds and ends. Also the geeks at (H)ard [O]n - I think that's their name - are crunching their way at twice the bottom people's rate so be prepared for another "miracle of deliverance"!

Tip of the Day - If you run Linux instead of Windows at eOn you'll go significantly faster.

Edit - S*@t! It's like twice as fast with Linux then Windoze...f´@*k! Switch to your favourite Linux distro folks if you're doing eOn.

Edit2 - the balance of the Universe is restored as KWSN now are at #19 on RAC and total credits - nice going on RAC team!

35 Draken and 37 Viggen were all the rage when I was serving. After all I was a Cold War Warrior. Although I served 20 years , I have just equalled that time on the Retired List.
