By a slim margin, your hard working over-clocked GPU cards have finally earned the right to a vacation. That's right, shut them off and send 'em down to the beach for a little 'er relaxation!
Well, you could be a task-master force those cards to shrub whatever you want, but come on....IT'S SUMMER! |

Of course if you send them to a beach they could get sand in there processors which will take time to get out.

Seeing as they are made of sand maybe a bit more will help them go faster.. |

So, if I pour a bucket of sand into my laptop it'll go faster? Wow! I'll go give it a try ...

Of course we do not endorse that message and not responsible for any damage from the sand.

Yeah, but if someone is gaming, that GPU won't be getting much of a vacation... Unless someone enjoys the prospects of getting their arse fragged a bit I dunno, if knowing someone wouldn't be able to see the approach in time to react, turning that arse into a pin cushion would be rather tempting if one's playing a rump ranger /rofl _________________

Yes, I see you're active again on F@H!
Thanks for helping lift us back into the top 100!
Now, if we could only Borg this Oxford GPU Super-Computer for a few weeks! _________________ Click here for...KWSN F@H team summary at EOC

My GPU was too new, it had to earn it's keep The new laptop certainly cost enough for it to earn it's keep _________________

Mostly idle due to the unusually hot weather, but did some folding with the 570.

During the vacation, it seems my two ATI cards, a 5600 series and a 5700 series decided to create a baby, it turned out to be an NVidia card. Two single precision cards made a double precision card. They all have 1G of RAM so that must have been the dominating trait.
I am actually running SETI Beta on my ATI cards currently and MW on the NVidia. |
