I would like to join my 2 accounts My previous account was listed under user name Mark7604 of which I cannot log into because the e mail account no longer exists. Could you please effect this as soon as possible I sure would appreciate this. Also I would like to add rosetta@home to my computing units as well I had this before as well and any other stats that I had I wish to be merged also.

I am not sure but I think your screwed. Several Knights have the same problem. Perhaps someone else has a suggestion.

I did manage to get two SETI accounts joined but that was years ago before BOINC and 2 odd million computers working, when they only had a few hundred/thousand computers on the system.

I had to write to them directly and ask them to do it. and I think they might just have granted me the credit rather than merge the accounts.

If you contact the project directly they might, just might be able to help you but I wouldn't hold out to much hope.

Do you need the old email account to log in to the project? It just asks for the address and password, it doesn't check if the account is still valid. (Or have you forgotten the password?) Confused

This is why it's smart to use a free e-mail account just for projects. You can keep the account forever and not lose or have to ask about merging.

None of the projects merge accounts that I know of. It's constantly asked but BOINC was created not to do this. The amount of work on the back end to try to do this probably means to take the database down, rewrite it, and hope you didn't mess it up. It would also create havoc on stats for quite a while.

We have no ability here to do anything for projects, we are just a mess of crazy people who enjoy crunching.

My suggestion, suck it up and move on.
