|
|
There's a new customizable stats sig site for badges:
http://signature.statseb.fr
Mine:
http://signature.statseb.fr/sig.py?id=16
This code works on the Musketeers forum but not here:

Anyone know how to format it for this forum?

This MAY be related - I know we run phpBB and SourceForge.net does also
They had an issue (still unresolved I think) where their site was rejecting
.png attachments (like your sig.py is a .png Image). The comment made
(for THEIR Board, not necessarily the Fortress) was Quote: | "The configuration allows attachments up to 256kB, allows images, and .png is
defined as an image file type. When uploading a .jpg of the same size (both
in pixels and kB) it works fine. Uploading png's works on another phpBB
forum I am hosting myself, so I believe this is an issue with Sourceforge
hosting and not phpBB." |
If this is indeed the problem HERE, then it would have to do with the
Hosting and not the phpBB itself.
A workaround is possible: I copied your file to my hard drive, then
uploaded to FaceBook. Next I did a [img][/img] of that FB Link and it
seems to work...

Right. I could do that with Photobucket or any image hosting site but then it's a static snapshot requiring constant manual updating. That's the kind of drudgery computers are made for.
Thanks.

I currently have no purpose for this as i have no badges and my other stats are already represented. Nice find though Gem _________________

Update, I seem to be having issues with it showing my WCG badge

The badge shows on the WCG site but not for this sig, what gives? _________________

This forum's software seems not to accept this format. I have to periodically upload a copy to Photobucket and use that static image for a while. _________________

Oh, I thought it was just a display problem.
Neither WCG nor statseb.fr updates very often, might take a few days to appear. _________________
