|

By a strong majority vote, the CPU Project of the Month for March 2012 is Correlizer.

Starting Statistics:
20 Place
681,156 Points
7,911 RAC 10th Place
205,965 Points crunched last 28 days
14,688 Points shrubbed yesterday
17th Place Formula Boinc
This project could be a Stomp-Fest! (But only 11 Kanigits are attached at the moment.)

There has been concern over availability of WU's. 23.5K are currently available, but these are short duration - probably less than 20 minutes each on most shrubbers.
There have been complaints about WU errors. I've had 441 validated with zero errors.

DoW passed 400,000
LanDroid passed 2,000 |

This might be a project where the project automatically generates WUs based on the number of work is completed.

My only issue is the validation speed. I've had 2k WU's pending for the last few days.
Otherwise, it seems thoroughly well behaved, with the exception of on Linux box that seems to always want ~130wu's even at priority 0 with lots of other work! |

sounds good, waiting for a WCG WU to finish and then at least one core will move itself over to correlizer _________________

I do not mind pending credit, for me I will still get credit long after I am done with the project. Like it appears magically.

Well if it can keep my shrubber stocked, without waiting days before WUs become available, all will be better. So here goes.... _________________

I had 6 WUs error out on my i5. I wouldn't mind that per se, but they don't just abort, I get the Windows dialog box "Correlizer_(cxcxffxxxcv).exe has stopped working";"Search for a solution and stop the program";"Stop the program". So it sits there until I happen to check on the shrubber, leaving that core or cores idle until I address it. I had 2 cores idle for over 6 hrs.
I'm switching that shrubber to another project for now.

No errors so far on my 2 Phenom II x6's. My Intel q9400 and q9550 are on Simap since they only have work for a week each month.

The choice of project wasn't anything to do with the fact that the project admin is called Honto is it? _________________

That might be the only reason who choose it.

It's still early, but looks like we're off to a slow start, 13.5K shrubbed yesterday with only nine Knights actively Correlizing?

A really slow start for me - sorry, getting my monthly dose of simap.
If my rat-infested shrubbery behaves, should be running more from tomorrow ...... |
