I figure I will make millions of shrubberies and save the planet.
Actually, I am just going to fire up my new computer with some super fast GPU shrubbing - the GTX-590. I might pop a second card in there in a couple weeks if I can handle the noise and heat.
I really expected to be left in the dust lately but was surprised to see I am not so far down the list - no new PC's for me on the shrubbing list in a while.
SETI out of work now? Sorry, I have been out of the loop for a while. |

A GTX590 should be a terror on DistRT. Might need an otherwise idle core or two to feed it efficiently, though.

Second GTX-590 just went in today. Things are going to suck in the summer when this heat is a real bear to deal with.
I should be passing 1 million shrubberies per day starting tomorrow! |

Yellow! No, Blue. Aargh!!
Let me know how it goes shrubs wise with the GTX590
Been looking at this one from my regular supplier:
Novatech GeForce GTX 590 3072MB GDDR5
608MHz Core, 1216MHz Shader, 1024 Cuda Cores, 3 x DVI, Mini DPort, PCIe 2.0
Price: £599.99 inc vat
Interested in the fact that I could hook 3 monitors up to it as well which will help me in some of the work I do. 6 monitors would be better if I can find a MB which will take 2 or more of them. _________________ What is that in the Shrubbery?

I have one of the GTX 590's and I get over 500,000 shrubs per day from it running 24/7.
The second one isn't running as well as I hoped yet but it is on an older XP 32 bit install. I may just need to upgrade that computer to Win7-64 anyway. |

Cool banana's that's a goodly amount of shrubs daily with one.
Get the other one running sweet and its a cool mill in the shrub bank daily
I'm looking for your dust trail. Guess you passed me a long time ago and I didn't notice Lol. _________________ What is that in the Shrubbery?
