Every eOn shrub is sacred! In spite of all this, KWSN passed the US Navy and Rechenkraft. The Norwegians and their blue parrots are next.

BOINC manager went from requesting one per core, to 1 only; and given that's all it gets per day (not on the net 24/7) /yawn
Meh, it's been ages since I tinkered with BOINC in this way; but if the client doesn't straigten itself out, I might end up having to go in and edit the config files to manually set the project debt levels; ala how people used to horde LHC WUs back in the day.... I haven't monkey with that in like 5 years, so my memory is a bit rusty on that bit anyhow.... _________________

I've been doing a few other things as well. Still, you shouldn't count you chickens.

I'm not fond of this project's regular WUs, having no check-pointing and running in panic mode, but the Beta WUs are even worse.
Still waiting to be stomped by Blurf. Come on, Blurf.

I've had to turn off the beta apps- none finishing on any of the machines :(
Let's hope they make some proper WU's soon ... |

OK then, too cheap.
http://eon.ices.utexas.edu/eon2/workunit.php?wuid=116972833
11.94 hrs. of crunching for 5.09 pts.
Seeing as they're pain-in-the-arse, no checkpointing, no progress bar, short-deadline, panic-mode inducing WUs, with little support from project admins, 1000 pts. might almost be fair.

I am with Gem, every time i get good progress i have to close boinc for one reason or another and it goes back to 0! Also one of Bok's SSD drives died so Free-DC gonna be down a couple days. What are you moving to instead Gem? _________________

I just got two WU's called "eOn Client 4.00". I believe that means the Beta is over. However reading the following, the release was premature?
Quote: | Hi everyone,
Let me apologize for the trouble the latest client has been giving you. We know you put a lot of work into making your crunching as efficient as possible, and that it can be a real damper on your efforts when a client misbehaves like this.
I have stopped sending out the jobs that have been causing problems. Those should work their way out of the queue over the course of the day. The shorter jobs you have been processing should take over the queue shortly after that.
Again, I am sorry for the time and effort this has cost you. Thanks for your patience and feedback.

Blurf what is a normal eta for a POEM WU on a CPU? I just grabbed one and its saying 3 days, which is equivalent for me to a WCG WU. Are they really that big? _________________

I'm moving the Linux shrubbers to Optima where I'm the only active member, one hex-core on WCG-HCMD (project ending soon), one quad on Ciência Em Sua Casa and Lattice.
5780 on MW; 5870 on Collatz and Donate; 570 on PG-genefer and DistrRT gen
