Got 2 WUs at 100% and they are not finishing. these WUs are not that big in GigaFlop size so I know it shouldn't be taking this long. Also it seems each one only gives out roughly 10 credits as I have now run 3 for a grand total of 32 credits. Their website seems to indicate everything is running fine so idk what sort of crazy junk its trying to do _________________

I haven't seen anything other than 0% on the progress meter (although I'm not watching it closely). I don't think it's useful in factoring, it's impossible to predict when you'll find a factor, it may even turn out to be prime.
Run times and therefore credit varies widely, on this page I received from .08 to 1350.12 pts.
The problem I see is, I get some short WUs, the manager downloads a bunch, some take hours, the manager increases the estimated completion times and has to go into panic mode.

I wish there was some sort of more detailed account of its progress here because once it gets to 100% I have no idea how long it will need to run, could at least have a graphic that says checking prime 5643246743 or whatever, anything other than letting it sit there for 4 more hours or so with no indication and then suddenly it reports it. AArg. the pains of wanting credit in a new project _________________

Yafu work may be coming to an end. I didn't want us stuck at 29th permanently so I transplanted some shrubs over there. Moved us up 4 places today. If work holds out for another 10 days, I might get us up to 15th.
Can anyone spare a shrubber or two for this? A couple of Musketeers have joined already.
Yafu doesn't play well with others, crunch it exclusively on a shrubber with 0 days cache for best results.

numbah phive has been lurking as of late while dealing with real life and has now cleared his board in order to go full force at yafu since constellation hates him. even so phared will probably still pass him by _________________

Number sephen tries harder.
Yafu errors about 50% on my i5. I switched all 4 other shrubbers to Yafu, 20 cores.

I have a dual core and I am doing other projects. It seems Linux is quite effective crunching Yafu. I made 20.000 in one day with 5 error tasks. Anyone else using Linux on this project?
You should try. It is not as difficult as people say it is.

The same for me in OS and only 5 errors. The WINDOWS XP 64 is giving a lot of error tasks. Finished with that. _________________ Friends are like diamonds and diamonds are forever.

I have gone through 5 tasks now since yesterday and only had one error. Also got 2 more shrubbing away currently so they should be done within the next several hours. _________________
