Had to borrow an internet connection. Sorry Guys I am off line because my puter has melted down since I put the 6 core proc into my puter.

Think my PSU has burned out. Yet to prove this so need to get hold of my old MB and switch with the new one to test this theory. Hopefully it is the PSU and not the new Proc.

I'll be back in about 2 weeks once I have been paid and can sort out this situation.

Bummer, Dude. Crying or Very sad
Pick up a power supply tester like this:
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0266741

Maybe save a lot of time and work.

I know how you feel. While changing out from my heatsinks and installing my water cooled cpu system...I bent some pins on my processor.

Down two days for replacement. *sigh*

I tried everything possible. One pin was just way bent to do anything with. Oh well...lesson learned.

Moment of silence, please.

I don't use mine for origami. Razz

This seems odd, though. Looking at the host details from the dDM site for my 1090T's:

Stock:
Measured floating point speed 3235.96 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed 7848.59 million ops/sec

Overclocked @3.7GHz:
Measured floating point speed 3769.18 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed 8409.53 million ops/sec

Yours:
Measured floating point speed 2592.46 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed 8599.8 million ops/sec

Confused

I'm currently stock, as I'm (again) breaking in this 1090T. So far I've gotten temps down to 54C max load, so I'll give it one more day burn in and I'll go ahead and overclock.

Isn't it weird that yours benchmarked so much lower than my stock 1090T in floating point ops/sec but higher than my overclocked 1090T in integer ops/sec?
Confused Confused Confused

I have Win7 Home Premium x64 on both.

Sorry Guys not sure how much longer I will be away.

To add angst and compounding to the problem, I lost my job and currently looking for some decent paid work.

Just done a quick rework of my old very cranky pc which overheats every time I look at it. Grrrr

Just as soon as I am able and to quote that famous actor

"I'll be Back"

Good luck on both fronts.
