|
|
Although we are revered as SETI Gods and are in 4th Place overall in DC Vault rankings, KWSN has never held a # 1 position in a Boinc project. We have an excellent chance of fixing that by taking control of the Distributed Data Mining project and tanuting everyone! Whilst thou apply any spare shrubbers or even full power towards our Quest? We are currently closing in on # 2 - this will be about a 4 to 6 week effort.

We are still revered as SETI gods, many of the older teams have fallen by the wayside. Such as Team Art Bell.

Joining the question...
Do we need to continue crunch for DDM in order to get 1st or we can give it lets say, 50% of the resources? _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

We could do several things:
- Decide now to keep crunching DDM 'til we reach # 1 and gain some space from 2nd place.
- Put DDM on the PotM ballot and vote on it.
- If DDM gets voted down next month, not sure. We could abandon the Quest. Or if we still think it's important a waterproof sub team could be formed, dedicated to reaching # 1 in DDM?

I'll stick with it for another month, but probably with a lower resource share, no matter what the poll would say.

I'm switched back. BOINC uploaded finished WU's but wouldn't request more until I manually updated the project, though.
