Cool news on Formula Boinc!

Uh-oh......Looks like a heavy hitter with L'Alliance Francophone just woke up and is # 1 in daily production with 130K already today. KWSN has 6 of the other top 10 slots for 95K so far. If this keeps up, our Quest will be more difficult...

Yes but I think we've known from the beginning that 1st place could take more than a month. Free-DC is estimating we overtake the Frogs in 32 days, which puts it at mid-April so this is probably a two month Quest. I guess we can either decide that now, put it as an option for PotM next month, or set up a sub-team dedicated to gaining first place in DDM?

Looking at our current rate of output (and the problems the project has had), we may just barely break the 2nd place mark by the end of the month. With April 1-3 being a Primegrid challenge (Sophie), I am betting our output will drop a lot. Making 1st may take us a couple of months since the step up hasn't really happened (people get frustrated when a project goes dark for a day or so as this has a couple times this month).

I am working on getting a few other things done starting next month. I might leave a few cores on this project after the PG challenge, but it'll not be enough.

Maybe someday we will be #1 in some project. At least we are #1 at being looney!
