o/
I have a beefy workstation that literally does nothing for 16 hours a day. So thinking of coming back to BOINC I grabbed SETI, but for the past hour or so - no workunits came thru. Is that still a common problem (was a few years back )
what else is worth crunching (esp. CUDA friendly) ? _________________

POTM is Rosetta, we could use help battling Overclockers.com.
PrimeGrid has a CUDA friendly sub-project.

Hello Simm!
Long time no see.
If you're into the whole space thing, both Einstein and MilkyWay has Cuda apps.
Milky needs a double precision card though, so it will only work if you got a pretty good card.
Just started a bit of Einstein myself, and the credit seems horrible compared to other GPU projects, so if you wants the stats you may want to stay off that project.
And welcome back! _________________

yarr! I mean .
too many gatecamps.
thanks for the replies fellas. I only had a few min to throw this together so I went with rosetta just to get things started. I'm guessing it should be +2 or 3K cred/day for the knights once the floating average catches up.
BTW since these are work computers I shrub under "flowjo rosetta" ;P
I particularly expect great shrubs from this shurbbery:

(not sure if that URL works publicly...? ) _________________

A quad quad!
I'm guessing you should get a bit more than 3k per day with that thing |

I think it's 8-cores, probably dual cpu workstation.

I have an 8 core shrubber at wrok. It is doing quite nicely!
The gpu really helps boost my average & team ranking. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

I noticed the GPU was causing a hang overnight, very consistently. killed GPU usage in prefs, now running smoothly even over-weekend. Weird. _________________
