Actually it says "Results ready to send......12,629".

I thought we download WU's and send back Results. Confused

Have to wonder if they really need distributed computing if one team can keep running them out of work. Imagine if we taunted other teams to pick up the pace, shrubbers would be out of work 80% of the time.

I turned Sophie Germain on. ( ) It has reliably short WU's to keep cores busy yet remain available on short notice.

I, as well, have started a backup CPU project, but reduced my cache to 0 days, so I can restart dDM, if warranted. However, I did make my million during this month, so all is not lost....

My main box picked up several large ones as well, the smallest of which claims a little over 55 hours needed. We shall see.

I just snagged a medical one that claims it needs 1703 hours. I hope not, thats about 10 weeks!

JohnGalt007 is in 6th place in the project overall and should reach 4th place shortly.

Ridiculously high estimates are common in this project.

Final stats:
Third place +16
5,124,408 Points + 4,852,836
141,412 RAC + 140,480
66,825 crunched yesterday + 66,109
Highest daily production was just shy of 240K on 1/18/11. 14 days over 180K production.

Hard to argue with results like that! Distributed Data Mining seems to be a popular project that ran smoothly after some Java updates. I think KWSN drained it of work units a few times, but only for about four hours a time, so not a major disruption...

Wow, one of our best PotMs ever; now THAT's what all our PotM's should be like.

I've posted a "thank-you" to Nico Schlitter here.

Kudos to Al Dente... I don't think DDM was on the radar screen 'til you suggested it last month. Also the message back to Nico is a touch of class - especially for such a Loon! Ni!
