Ok,

So I got my card yesterday, a day early Gotta love New Egg, I finally put it in a machine this morning, installed the newest drivers and ran the fan up to 100% and aborted all the cuda Wu's & replaced them with Ati's.

Unfortunately, all the Wu's errored after 2 seconds.... one made it to 29 seconds. They all have a error code of

What project are the WU aborting from?

Remember that you not only need the regular drivers, but you will need the fancy package which includes SDK and what-not. I think it's all mentioned in this thread. Pooh Bear and John Galt had some good insight on the matter. I'm still running on an app_info but they may have gotten all the bugs worked out by now that you don't need one. Raw Data seems to be pointing you in the right direction.

You need the AMD Catalyst APP 10.12 driver package (APP=Accelerated Parallel Processing)
http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx
Select your OS, then make sure to scroll down to the APP version.
I only needed the app_info file for the 5770, not the 5870. Confused

MilkyWay is probably offline because RPI is doing maintenance/upgrades.

And you need .NET 3.5 or greater from mIcRo$oFt.

P.S. If you want some crazy credit, attach that sumbitch to DNETC....a 5870 plays REAL nice there.....

Well I downloaded the one for my system, 10.12 ccc something or other...

Turns out that it is the same one I downloaded and installed this morning, Just lucky I guess.....

So I reinstalled it and we will see #ni-1

Edit: first one crashed in 3 seconds, the next 5 all crashed in 2 seconds each Confused

Gonna try the Dnekkid thingie... Very Happy
