Because the ATI cards, at least, are so much faster. My quads check roughly 60M keys/sec, 5670 ~300M, 5770 ~870M, 5870 ~1600M.

Let us know what your i5 does, though.

Do not abort WUs that might not make it on time, it is part of the clean up and some of that work will still be credited as they go through and clean everything up. Like orphan WU's will still count when they get their wing man returned.
