I'm ordering a new system this morning:
ASROCK M3A790GXH/128M
AMD PHENOM-II 965 BLACK EDITION / QUAD 3.4GHZ
CORSAIR DOMINATOR LOW LATENCY DDR3 4GB KIT (2x2GB) PC3-1600MHZ
GEFORCE GTS250 1GB /VGA/ DVI/HDMI/PCIE-2.0
Windows 7 64-bit

Those are the relevant bits anyway, it should be ready to collect on Saturday.
Does anybody have any suggestions re installation? I'd like to avoid pitfalls if I can.

ps thanks to everybody for the advice re my last thread. I might keep it just for shrubbing.

I would at least go with a GT260 1GBDDR5 card, seems to be Nvidia's sweet spot currently, $220 in a store near me.

Little bit more and you can go with the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor.

Other than that double check to make sure your ram is good with that motherboard. Get a modular power supply. The inflatable sheep will need a patch kit. Zip ties are great for wire management.

REQUEST
Is there a space battle game comparable to Conflict Freespace which would make the most of my new systems abilities?
I'm upgrading my monitor to boot (hah hah (basil brush style) ).
