I've got swallowed up with mafia wars/vampire wars and farmy things too (as has ALL of the rest of my family - wife/daughter/sister/sister-in-law/nieces/nephews/etc.)
Upgraded memory on all of the home systems to improve playability (never done that for DC projects  ) - wife now wants a bigger laptop screen so she can see all her loot drops...

I too have been sucked into the abyss of Facebook and further into the black hole of Mafia Wars. I agree that it's a good time for a major facelift here. Add some new features and maybe even some games we can play here. The coversation here has always be interesting and the humor is even better but more is needed now both to attract and keep new members.

As you know it was deleted because of inappropriate content. That board is hosted at my work and I do not wish to be associated with content like in the mentioned thread. That is why I asked everyone involved to find their pleasure elsewhere.

But do we really need another site? The FB group is private, only the members can read it. And we have the forum. I don't know where I am half the time as it is, and adding another site would get me totally lost.
Then again, FB is a huge distraction because it is filled so much other stuff.
Sprucing up the forum with some fancy doodads would be nice. So would some new curtains, a couple more comfy chairs, and a home cinema.
There's probably not a lot we can do about bots and spammers, although the new captcha function in the upgraded version that JerWA mentioned looks more secure.
Apathy! That's the word I've been trying to think of. Personally, I think that's half the problem with the team.

I don't have a lot of time on my hands.

There are more possibilities.
If you don't have any knowledge of these, but you have a little time to spare, maybe investigate a bit and report back what you find.
