Dear Primefinder,

Congratulations! Our records indicate that a computer registered by you has
found a unique prime number. This computer is running BOINC, is attached to
the PrimeGrid project, and is assigned to the Proth Prime Search. What makes
this prime unique is that it's large enough to enter the Top 5000 List in Chris Caldwell's
The Largest Known Primes Database.

Since you have auto-reporting selected, the following prime was submitted on your
behalf:

Added 91841 : 761*2^742083+1 (223393 digits)

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me and we will surely resolve any
problem.

Once again, congratulations on your find. Thank you for participating in PrimeGrid.

John Blazek of PrimeGrid

Thank you all the Knights that participated. Though I hoped that we would have continued our top ten run with a new year it was not meant to be. Until the next one please return to your regularly scheduled POTM. Congrats to all those who found primes they may only be on the top 5000 list for so long.

I guess 52 cores is only good for 20th place now.... Shocked

Even if I replace ALL of the quads with i7s, I will only be up to 84 cores... Shocked Shocked

But each i7 will have 3 GPU slots.....hmmmmm.....

I was surprised at my showing, too. Usually I'm somewhere in the 30's, but this time I wasn't even in the top 100. Of course, I was down 10 cores from my usual. Time to build some more machines. Rolling Eyes

Yeah, it seems as though interest in the PG Challenges has greatly increased since about fall of last year. Competition is getting thicker. We just need to win the Loonie-Lotto then we can all get 84 cores!

Congrats to all primefinders! #ni-1 Unfortunately, I have yet to find a single prime Sad

You will find a prime one day, you are just waiting for the right one.

Yeah more teams and participants in this Challenge than in ones last year, so it will be difficult.

The nest one is March 15th and is a quick one, just 24 hours long.

Remember positions still can change because if there are people who do not validate correctly they will lose points/spots. One of them last year I moved up 2 spots as the units were verified.

We are pretty much entrenched in the 12th spot.
