We are now 8th. Sicituradastra. has just come out of nowhere to pass us. We are still barely ahead of the US Navy, about 500 thingys seperates us from being 9th. Hopefully we can finish this challenge in the top 10 still. It might be tough.

well the navy just passed us both....
BTW: did they take away cc config report results immediately?
Several of my machines were sitting on 70+ results...
This could be a problem at the end of the challenge.... _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Yeah we are now 9th, and risk going down to 10th. Can you manually report the completed WUs?

I don't expose myself on the internet, even when people say 'please'. And you wouldn't like it if I did.

Welcome to the boards flowerysong!
I've got all I can get into this, my quad didn't like all four cores running PrimeGrid. It did two auto restarts so I dropped it down to 75%. That's what I get for OCing and running Collatz on the side _________________

Too bad this was not a 24 hour challenge or else we would have finished in the top ten, right now we are 9th but losing ground fast to the 10th and 11th placed teams with still many hours to go.

You would think if they plan to organize a DNS attack against themselves, they'd be ready for it. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

The server is back up right now so if you are cacheing please dump them now.
As of this update we are now 10th, and about to go out of the top ten for the Challenge. PrimeSearchTeam is right on our tail. Borg the toaster, PS3, your calculator if you have too no falling out of the top ten.

Those malfunctions they're experiencing in their side are sure not helping us...

See http://www.primegrid.com/forum_thread.php?id=1638&nowrap=true#21105 for the lowdown...
Quote: | As y'all are fully aware, we are limping along with sporadic server overload. While it is unfortunate, it's not devastating. Most hosts are connecting within a few attempts. However, as a precautionary note, we encourage users to increase their cache to at least 4-5 hours so queues don't run dry. This hurts "prime finder" status, but it keeps cores running.
Stats now have to be run manually. There's life in the validator but it's having trouble catching up.
PRPNet has been shut down and will remain down for the duration of the Challenge. I know this puts a damper on the Tour de Primes effort but we're in survival mode now.
Everything was going well for the first 36 hours then Challenge stats runs started overwhelming the server. Once that happened, it started a snowball effect on other processes.
We are working to clean things up and decrease server load so more connections are freed up.

2 days in, and 1 day left. We are currently 10th, yet team PrimeSearchTeam is right behind us. It will be toughly to finish in the top 10 this Challenge.

That's just great. I'm 1000 miles from home with no remote access set up and everything set to 0 cache. _________________
